Residential heating oil price decreases

The average retail price for home heating oil fell 28.4 cents from last week to $5.15 per gallon. That’s up $1.78 from a year ago, based on the residential heating fuel survey by the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Heating oil prices in the New England region are at $5.09 per gallon, down 26.4 cents from last week but up $1.80 from a year ago.
